It breaks up the text for my kids, and the illustrations are heartrending. <br /><br />For nativity picture books, our two favorites are "Room for a Little One" and "The Christmas Story" illus. by Carol Heyer. I admit, it has been very difficult to find any stories about the birth of Christ that deal with it in a way I feel comfortable with.
